The CID celebrates its 30th anniversary during the 48th edition of the Deauville American Film Festival
On Thursday, September 8, 2022, the CID – Palais des Congrès de Deauville – took advantage of the excitement of the 48th edition of the Deauville American Film Festival, of which it is co-organizer, to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
A corporate anniversary bringing together those involved in the success of the Deauville Convention Center
For this occasion, 200 guests were expected: the most loyal customers, members of the Board of Directors, service providers, partners and the teams of the Deauville Convention Center.
The meeting was held on the Red Carpet at 6:30 pm at the VIP PASS reception of the Festival. The guests then walked on the Red Carpet to reach the Sundance area: a Champagne cocktail was served in a musical atmosphere before entering the Michel d’Ornano auditorium. The ceremony honored the President of the Jury Arnaud Desplechin, who was awarded the INA Digital Distinction by Laurent Vallet, President of INA. The participants then discovered the satirical comedy SANS FILTRE, directed by Ruben Östlund and recently awarded the Palme d’or at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, in the presence of its director and Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate of the Cannes Film Festival.
The reception at the Villa le Cercle
At the end of the screening, the guests were invited to join the Villa le Cercle Deauville. It was the ideal place to host this VIP evening: this historic seaside residence has been operated by the Deauville Convention Center since 2006, it is located in the immediate vicinity of the CID, and has the charm and elegance that have the gift of magnifying each reception in Normandy.
The guests were able to exchange in a friendly atmosphere while enjoying the live musical performance of the group ML Évènement. The caterer Bonnaire was also present to ensure the service of the cocktail party throughout the evening. Everyone was able to enjoy this moment of sharing and keep a souvenir of this evening by taking a break in front of the photobooth installed for the occasion.
Description of the spaces used for this company anniversary
The checkroom was installed in the courtyard lounge, located on the right in the main entrance. The 3 adjoining lounges of the Villa le Cercle Deauville allowed to create several atmospheres:
- The central salon la Rotonde hosted the musical group
- The Salon Royal and the Salon Casino allowed the participants to eat and exchange.
Armchairs, highchairs, tables and soft lights completed the scenography.
The C.I.D. would like to thank all those involved in its success!
